BLE54 – S3E20 – #041 The Artax Network

It’s time for our characters to say goodbye to their co-worker and friend, as Liz’s funeral offers them the opportunity to grieve in their own special ways. Surprisingly, Red opts to not attend Liz’s funeral, instead electing to visit with an isolated man known as Dom, who may have a special connection to Reddington, and even Liz herself. Things are heating up on The Blacklist, as this week the pieces are being put in place for a much anticipated season finale, and we dive into it all and a side of buttermilk on this week’s show. FTWDTT 09 – S2E3 – “Ouroboros” Review

We are back to our normal selves to discuss “Ouroboros,” the third episode of Fear the Walking Dead season two…or at least, I am! I was able to catch a few more zzz’s this week and did not have to focus all my energy on forming coherent sentences! And yes, Brian was normal, too. But what an exciting episode! Perhaps the best episode of Fear yet, this episode was packed with all the things we love about this world. There was an “infected” horde that mobbed our characters on the beach, there was an underwater scare with an “infected” filtration clog, and of course, good ole fashioned death threats. Is Madison capable of carrying out her promise to throw Strand overboard? Strand doesn’t think so, but I’m not so sure. Brian pointed out that there is not really a clear leader of the Abigail crew yet, and while I want it to be Travis, I think it will probably end up being Madison. But what do you think? Read More…

POI24 – Season 4 Recap and Season 5 Look-ahead

It’s been almost a year since we’ve put out a podcast episode about a TV episode of POI; that’s how long they’ve made us wait. So if you memory has been compressed, like the Machine’s, you may have forgotten some of what happened last season. Never fear, though! With Darrell’s rewatch of season 4 (and Doug’s cribbing of CBS’s website), we are here to catch you up and make our predictions about the upcoming season (who will live and who will die, how this all ends).

CBS has decided to compress the season as well, so we’ll be podcasting just once a week on Wednesday nights, covering everything shown that week. Many weeks that’s 2 episodes, and in once case, it’ll be 3!

And in our (rather extended) spoilers section, we’ll run down the episode titles and speculate on what they will mean.

AS 85 – S4E19 – Canary Cry Review

Rain or shine, Arrow Squad is back with another discussion covering Arrow Season 4 Episode 19 “Canary Cry”, which originally aired on Wednesday April 27, 2016. Of late, Arrow seems to be delivering black-cloud episodes with heavy emotional scenes and confusing character arcs which defy the showrunners’ promises of a lighter-toned season. While so many consecutive episodes bearing such heavy content can seriously weigh on us, it’s hard to deny the fantastic performances that were brought to use through the arc of Laurel Lance’s death. The events in Back To Normal set up some exciting possibilities for the next few episodes of The Flash! Here to share his thoughts about one of those big events is co-host Joe!

Flash, Season 2. Episode 19. “Back to Normal.” Here’s the long and short of what I’ve learned from the Flash this season. The multiverse only seems to want 1 of everyone. Why? Because doppelgangers die! Oh, they die often! And it’s not reserved for Earth-2-ers! Read more…
