Pretty Hate Machine could describe Lee, Shaman, Penguin or Riddler this episode. Hate seemed rule the day in Gotham. Jim was infected, the bomb went off, and Ed & Oswald’s showdown was stopped by Fish. This episode ramped up the action!

Lee has taken the virus and what has it brought out in her? Hate for Jim? No she loves Jim because of the darkness and danger in him. What she hates is him not being himself. Harvey wants to find him but time and air are limited. Plus the virus bomb thread is looming. With the bomb about to go off and Harvey still looking for him, Jim has no choice. The Shaman pushes the button and Alfred shoots him. Before he dies, the Shaman tells Bruce to look for the Demon’s Head. The virus is released, Bruce is enraged and arrested, and Alfred is in shock.

Fish Mooney walks in and takes Penguin away, for reasons yet unknown. The rest of the group is left in stunned silence.
I enjoyed this episode much more than I did last week’s. I’m still not thrilled about what they are doing to Lee, but she was EVIL this week! This episode may not originally have been planned as the penultimate one, but it sure ramped up the action and stress. It leaves me excited for next week and wondering what comes next. That is a very good thing.

Harley Quinn news from Coming Soon: Fan-favorite character Harley Quinn has been confirmed for the Season 3 Gotham finale by star David Mazouz, according to Movie Pilot. He told the site, “She’s going to be in the finale. Stay tuned.” There has been speculation about the appearance of the character, especially after executive producer John Stephens spoke about it back in January.
