The Stray Analysis

Welcome to Beyond Westworld, and boy do we have a podcast for you…

Down and down the rabbit hole we go! This episode had all of us saying “Dear dear how queer everything is..” even before we were handed a copy of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Elsie and Stubbs chase after a stray run away host who for some reason decided to take a walk to gaze at the starts but gets trapped 127 hours style in a crevice. Dolores and Teddy get front billing this week as they explore their relationship and themselves in more detail.

Teddy receives an origin story for his guilt, a gruesome one at that, about his old regiment leader Wyatt. Crazy now after listening to voices in his head, Wyatt leads his group of bandits that wear the bones and skins of the things they kill. Dolores however has a desire for something unexpected, a romantic getaway with Teddy. Unfortunately for her, that trip is not in this part of the narrative. Elsewhere Ford continues tinkering with the hosts to prep his upcoming narrative, while we learn a deeper side to Benard and what his “drives” are motivated by. William and Logan have an unexpected encounter of their own both in town, and out in the fields nearby. We attempt to make sense of all the voices in our heads, or is that just Arnold playing tricks again.

Be sure to answer our fan question of the week: What will William do to help Dolores? Visit our feedback page to leave a response or call +1 (304) 837-2278.

The park is open, so come on in and have a drink on us!
