Case Profile for The Informant

The Informant will collect secrets from any area of the Government and sell them to the highest bidder. He also works for Prescott, the man that has been blackmailing Donald Ressler since the end of season four. Will Ressler be able to stop The Informant and turn him in? Or will he continue being manipulated and turn into the bad cop he fears? Luckily for Ressler the good Red from up above is watching his six and comes to his aide at a most needed time.

Meanwhile Liz continues her quest to find Tom’s killers. She has most of the mayhem figured out except for the man with the Damascus knife, one Ian Garvey. Garvey gets word Liz is back, in town that is. She’s not back at the FBI working with the task force. She narrows in on Garvey’s second hand man Navarro, whom reveals to Liz that what she thought she understood about Tom’s involvement may not be completely true.

The Music of The Informant

We kick off the show in a club to the sounds of Alexis Smith, Joe Henson, and Oliver Dalston and their collaboration ‘Nightlife’. It’s really a killer tune. Or was it the dry ice? Then toward the end of the episode, when Red decides to take care of Prescott once and for all we hear Gracie and Rachel’s ‘Upside Down’, as those secret envelopes are passed between Ressler and Cooper.

You can hear these songs via the official Blacklist playlist on Spotify or the same playlist recreated by us on Apple Music.
