I know Katrina says Nyssa just says “husband” to annoy Oliver but it makes me want to puke every time she says it; I had hoped Sara would return and break that up via a time trip but LEGENDS seemingly also doesn’t care for Nyssa. 🙁 I’m glad these teases are basically done beyond a jab or two when she sees them again now with the dagger end scene. The more I think about it the more I like it was Nyssa who ended the sham marriage because while Sara stopping it would have shown her love this way shows Nyssa’s abilities and I like it!
I vote we just loop Nyssa’s and Dinah’s voices because those are great! Nyssa can return for sure as she’s a guest star more than a main character; Katrina guest starred during “Training Day” when she was a main there, yes “Oath” has her more involved but depending on hiatus time she could do more “Arrow” spots. Maybe their adventure for the treasure could be like a 3 episode online thing with CW Seed, kind of how ABC did “Slingshot” for “Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.” thus it doesn’t take much time for the actors but it gives resolution to the plot faster instead of us having to wait until the next mention onscreen such as Felicity saying she got a photo from Thea last week and they’re at X or Nyssa coming back saying she last saw Thea and Roy heading off at an airport; it could also be filmed when they needed given scheduling – it’s an option. My favorite scene was Nyssa standing behind Felicity because that was good as she totally knew what she was doing, ha. Thea is right, it was always her with the great sibling speeches.
AWE, just when you think you can’t like Flash anymore he goes and speaks honestly about crying, points to you sir! 🙂
Kyra Zagorsky, who I still hence forth in this post call Athena Bering-Wells, brought it again; I don’t know how many saw her on “Helix” but she was definitely the standout. Given Katrina Law was in this episode it’s hard to be THE standout this time but I still enjoyed her and was hoping we’d get even more with her, I’m feeling now this should have been a three part story with E1 being mainly as this was in setting things up but the ending would be cut of course and E2 would be the hunt Thea, Roy, and Nyssa are going on with Oliver and John backing them up and we get more on Athena, and finally E3 would be them defeating her and Nyssa taking the artifact away for safe keeping and Roy and Thea leaving for their own adventure after the siblings say goodbye maybe at an airport or such which allows them all to be in the same space again but also separate. Okay maybe they could do it in two but still that would work as I wanted more with the characters from this week, mainly Nyssa of course.
I agree with Flash, I’m fine with no Diaz this episode. It’s also fair to question the Dinah-Curtis stuff because as Cammie said it could have happened next week.
I can understand John being upset he doesn’t get to be the star after being told he could, but I really hope he doesn’t use that pity to go over to NTA because Olicity versus the others isn’t something I want to see; Felicity needs to get all the kids together and tell them to talk it out because while all this fighting is realistic and is past due for some characters it is getting old. Had it been during the fights in previous weeks it might be one thing but as is everyone punching first and talking later is just annoying. It would make John look really bad if he did that as well. Again does it suck if you’re John? Yeah. Are you really that surprised Oliver made a decision without consulting you? You shouldn’t be.
The problem with a crossbow to me for Spartan is it’s a lazier bow essentially and given Oliver and Thea had them and it’s “Arrow” I feel another bow weapon would make him blend in just as much as a gun so I don’t think that would help him stand out as much as his ego might want; the name Spartan makes me think of “Halo” where Master Chief uses guns and given John’s training it makes sense but if you go by Spartan warriors you have swords which are also plenty on the series but not as much as guns or bows and shields so maybe he could get a shield to stand out? Although that could make fans think of Guardian on “Supergirl” and that plot didn’t work for James so it could leave a bad taste in fans’ mouths even though it’s more fitting for John. I’m not sure a cool accessory is going to be the cure for the situation, it feels more like John wants to lead at times too so if they could work that out somehow where he does it as Spartan without Oliver stepping on his moments that could help but this feels more like an ego thing than John caring necessarily what the suit looks like. If Oliver dressed like Spartan and he dressed like Arrow but it was called “Spartan” he’d want to be Spartan.
If someone dies I vote Lance given his refusal to admit Laurel isn’t his Laurel.

In regards to Curtis’s new boyfriend, they have to do something with him now that they’ve made a big deal about him but I go back and forth on how I want to see him involved – the easy way is he’s a spy for Diaz but I think it might be more interesting to see him be a good cop and thus when he learns Dinah and Curtis are vigilantes he has them arrested to remind fans of that plot and how does that criminals Dinah arrested and what comes out of that especially if Laurel takes our Laurel’s DA job and oopies was bad at a case and someone got free, that could be some fun havoc. 🙂
Nyssa/Alex is appealing but I have Sam/Alex feelings on “Supergirl” I need to see play out first; that said I wouldn’t mind Nyssa and Alex meeting. Ugh I have such feelings regarding Nyssa’s love life and current LEGENDS spoilers only make me angrier – Flash can assume why.
Yes to more Zoe and yes to Dinah babysitting her and teaching her superhero skills Renee might not want her to know yet! 😀
