[sc:astop]This week is the first of a two-part story, with Oliver and Slade headed off on a mission to rescue Slade’s son, while the rest of the team remains behind in Star City to face a familiar villain: Vigilante. Team Arrow also faces rising heat from FBI Agent Samanda Watson, as she expands her search for the colleagues of the Green Arrow. Flashbacks into Slade and his son’s past shed light on why this rescue mission may not be as straightforward as initially planned.
This fall and spring Arrow will be airing on a NEW night on Thursdays at 8pm ET. Our podcast episodes will be posted the following Saturday/Sunday, so we can accept email/voice feedback through Friday night – and maybe an early Saturday morning submission might make it in if you’re quick. 🙂

I have to disagree Martin, I’ll give you on an episode versus episode level “Arrow” can be better at times, but season versus season right now I have to say “Supergirl” and “Arrow” are pretty even for me with “Supergirl” slightly ahead.
Speaking of “Supergirl”, I’m personally excited for the fact the Danvers sisters are going to have a big part in the crossover as well; an Olicity proposal if pictures are correct is a nice bonus. 🙂
I don’t know what’s better – Martin gushing over Dinah or Cammie with her Double D moments; here’s hoping neither ends!
I’ll be honest and say unless they repeat sometime or air during an off night for “This Is Us” I’ll probably never watch a full LEGENDS episode because TIS is too good to miss! Also it would just be me essentially on my knees with my fists shaking in the air going “WHY?!” because they seemingly have an aversion to saying Nyssa’s name. Ha. I get if you assume Nyssa has a big part in Sara’s future Sara can’t know about it but I don’t understand why she can’t say her name normally in situations where people are talking about loves or dreams.
The Felicity chip to me was the best part of S4 and I’d love for it to come back as a story more often given you don’t see plots like that tackled much.
I have to say I’m kind of bummed we did get any Renee as mayor comedy moments but maybe we’ll see his time touched on next week. 🙂
I definitely agree with the fact Julianna was awesome in this episode, but I have to side with Cammie regarding Vigilante and if he was redone. I definitely think because he was one of the least liked plots last season they tried to make him someone important this season to work him in because if it’s always been Vince where was he pre-Dinah joining the team or throughout the season when she could have used help? If he supposedly still loves her why not try to find her the moment he realized he was alive? I’m sure they’ll try to fit in scenes to make that plot work but I’m not convinced Vince was always Vigilante. Also no to Diggle killing him as that’s not his place; it would be one thing if it wasn’t in Dinah’s character to kill but we’ve seen her kill people so if anyone takes him down one on one it should be her unless it’s self defense then it’s understandable but beyond that – Dinah only. As Cammie said it would really feel like a forced ship if Diggle killed Vigilante without talking to Dinah first or out of some seeming jealousy. I just hope they don’t use Vince to give an exit for Dinah because she’s too awesome to go.
Martin feel free to answer as well but as head of the Double D moments this mainly goes to Cammie: do you think the reveal of Vince as Vigilante was meant to stop the Dinah/John vibes a lot of fans are starting to have or is he just meant to be a bump in the road for them and Dinah will put him down as she said later in the season?
I SO hope we see more Dinah-Watson scenes because I just picture great back and forth until Dinah says something that clicks a puzzle piece into Watson’s mind and steps up her pursuit of the team; it would fit for Dinah being the one to slip up as in one of the articles Bianca posted last week it said Dinah’s ego might get the best of her.
GREAT points by Stormy!
Considering no one went to jail this episode I’d say the team managed fine this week. 🙂
Here’s a thought: what if Thea ends up being Watson’s biggest challenge? What if Thea is the one to take the fall as it were for the team because it’s an exit for Willa who’s out more and more each season it sadly seems? I just want to see Thea getting some fun stuff this season as well and being a blocker against Watson could give her that once she wakes up.
