As we draw closer to the final face-off between Oliver and Prometheus, the team must work together and draw on all resources and outside forces to take him down. Thea Queen returns to Star City, just in time to find new and unsettling information about Robert Queen’s past, bringing into question the legacy he has left for them. Other father/child relationships are strained on the team as well, as Rene must determine, with Lance’s help, what can be done about the custody of his child. On top of all of that, a new villain is unearthed this week, in the form of guest-star Cody Rhodes, and even more surprising new and old villains may be in the shadows, as Team Arrow prepares for many final battles.

Dinah has worn the mask before, she started I believe when Cupid showed up and they had the fight in the graveyard.
“something bigger and badder” – aka Talia is coming! I’m betting she’ll be doing the next part of the plan until she breaks Chase out potentially or leaves him in as a double cross and then Oliver will bring in Nyssa to defeat Talia as she’s the only one can.
“Who will play for yours?” – a great scene with Anatoli!
A nice response by Destiny! Gray areas definitely make for interesting plots when written to and not just played for quick drama; Curtis and Felicity are similar but I don’t think he’d have the same luck she does keeping Oliver sane so there are important differences to them. I definitely hope they don’t replace Felicity with Curtis; I like Curtis don’t get me wrong and I certainly understand wanting special things for each character so they don’t blend together but I would be sad if Curtis took Felicity’s spot because again he doesn’t have the connection to make OTA listen to him always and while he’s funny it’s more awkward funny at times than funny funny like Felicity is known for. Good points by Cammie regarding the topic!
Thea had some great stuff this episode! Talk “Star Wars” to us Cammie. 🙂 I am SO glad they showed there was more to Chase giving up than it being reality because he’s come to far to give up like that…why he needs to be locked up for part of the plan I don’t know but I’m glad this wasn’t a case where Oliver could just talk him out of it because that wouldn’t have felt realistic to Chase. For me what makes Chase an intriguing bad guy is the fact his plans honestly challenge the characters, none of the characters have been handicapped in their abilities to make his plans work unlike with Damien Dark where the team did stupid things which only helped him (see putting the idol together), the events of his story work timeline wise, and there have been consequences for his actions unlike Malcolm who gets away with so much it’s ridiculous at this point…yes there have been some “suspend belief” moments with him (ex. he instantly turned creepy with Susan the second he was outted in the video) but 95% of his stuff has been well done overall and it’s made for a lot of fun to watch. Is he the best villain on the series? We’ll see but he has been a good one!
Ooh, that’s a good point by Stormy about Talia learning Nyssa helped kill Raz; again I feel this is a perfect place to do some Nyssara nodding without making it all about Nyssa/Sara because I’m interested in seeing how Talia feels about that relationship – is she supportive or does she feel it weakened Nyssa as Raz felt and thus opened the door for Raz to want Oliver to lead which lead to them turning on him? There’s definitely some intriguing stuff that could come out of the sisters’ section!
I personally wouldn’t be “Woo” if Evelyne died but I agree they haven’t used her at all to make her exit impactful.
