Dragon and Arrow are drawn to a showdown for control over Star City, and as the FBI swarms the city, both heroes and villains have much at stake. Join us as we talk about the jaw-dropping and heart-wrenching moments in this finale, and speculate about where our heroes go from here into season 7 of Arrow.
Dragon’s goals shift gears this episode, as he moves from trying to get Oliver Queen convicted of crimes as the Green Arrow, to trying to kill Oliver and everyone he loves. As the danger rises for the current and former members of Team Arrow, all allies are pulled and all hands are on deck again, as desperation pushes the team to consider riskier missions and more high-stakes attempts to capture Dragon than ever before.
Oliver Queen goes on trial for crimes allegedly committed as the Green Arrow this week, in a trial that essential is Star City vs. Oliver Queen. The fragments of Team Arrow must come together to testify for or against him, and as we’ve come to expect, Dragon has his talons in every part of the city, the trial, and the justice system, leaving the Queen family and the team to find a way to get one step ahead of the man who is one step ahead of everyone.
As the title would suggest, allegiances are shifting across Team Dragon and Team Arrow, as both Oliver and Diaz alienate and draw in the people around them. As NTA returns to the spotlight to save the city, Oliver leaves on some critical last-minute missions before his trial.
Just as Star City has been taken over by The Dragon, Arrow has been taken over by The Dragon, as this week’s episode follows the story of our villain, from his dark origins and dark present, with a peak at a dark future. While Team Arrow is disbanded, Team Dragon is stronger than ever, and we get some answers about their goals and intended endgame.
With Team Arrow’s remaining members down to the bare minimum, Oliver begins to question his own leadership as the Green Arrow. Compounding the problem, as Dragon begins to turn up the heat in his plan to take over the city, Oliver finds that it’s not just his role as mayor in jeopardy, but also everyone he loves.
Oliver and Team Arrow attempt to regain control of Star City, as Dragon’s corruption is revealed to be deeper and more sinister than they could have expected. Meanwhile, trouble brews within the team as the tension over who will retain the role of team leader builds to a full-on fight.
New villains and familiar antiheroes return to Star City, as Team Arrow prepares for Roy and Thea’s departure. The stakes rise as forces are out for Thea’s blood, and she begins to question what a happily-ever-after departure should be for the daughter of Merlyn.
Two teams collide not only in theory but in practice this week, as OTA and NTA prepare to battle whoever stands in their way: even each other. As Quentin is still trying to save Black Siren’s soul, and OTA is trying to save the city with the money Black Siren stole, NTA is set on a mission to avenge Vince’s death by killing his murderer. This brings all sides to a breaking point, as the only way to achieve their goals is to stop each other.
